At least six labourers killed in Lahore fire

At least six labourers have been killed Wednesday when the construction the place they have been running stuck fire, DawnNews reported.

8 injured labourers were rescued from the blaze and rushed to Kot Khawaja Saeed Executive Health facility, the place seven succumbed to their accidents, police and rescue officers stated.

Some of the two survivors is reportedly in essential situation.

The incident took place close to Mehmood Booti Interchange in Lahore, Cantt Superintendent of Police (SP) Rana Tahir stated.

The construction used to be evacuated and the fire were extinguished.

An preliminary investigation published that the fire had began because of a brief circuit, SP Tahir stated. On the other hand, additional investigation is underway.
