SARGODHA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited the Mushaf Ali Mir Airbase here on Wednesday to witness the High Mark exercises of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Mr Sharif was presented with a guard of honour by a smart contingent of PAF. He also reviewed the parade.
The prime minister, accompanied by Defence Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif, witnessed a fly-past by a formation of the F-16 fighter aircraft.
In his interaction with the personnel who took part in the exercises, he congratulated them on the successful culmination of the exercises, which are carried out after every four years to enhance the operational preparedness of the air force.
He was also given a briefing on the exercises as well as the objectives achieved.
Upon his arrival at the airbase, the prime minister was received by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, and other senior officers of the PAF.
