Defence Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif on Monday stated that of completion of ongoing counter-terrorism operations would be the duty of the new army leader.

The struggle against terrorism, the situation alongside the Line of Regulate and Running Boundary, and alleged Indian aggression in Pakistan thru Afghanistan will be some of the primary responsibilities the new army leader may have to center of attention on, Asif stated.
The Pakistan Army and its new leader could have to lift ahead the custom of good fortune maintained throughout Gen Raheel’s three-year time period.
